Hi my name is Sox the Kat. I am a very brave
kat and here is my story.
I used to live in a place called Yamanto in Queensland Australia. My life was a simple kat's one and all I would eat was chook. I amused myself by chasing and eating red-back spiders and once a week or so I would invite all my freind's into the yard for a 'pizza Box party'. One day I heard this BIG BANG and one of my humans was not alive anymore. I ran out of the house and saw lots of men in blue (and one woman too!). They tried to catch me. My other human tried to call me but could't get the right note that I come to because they were too stressed out. I sat just out of reach of all these people and watched the proceedings. I saw them take my human (the alive one) away in a car. I saw all the people coming and going from the house and every now and then they would try and get me to go to them with a roast chook. This didn't work of course because I knew they were just trying to catch me. I saw them take my dead person out too and that is when I ran away after having a bit of a *fast* sniff. I wandered around Yamanto for 3 months eating dog food and the scraps that the neighbours left for me. I ate some of the chooks right out of thier traps without getting caught! I eluded these people for 3 months. The RAAF, Police, Neighbours, and even my ex-humans tried to catch me but I wasn't having any of it. I eventually turned myself in in a hailstorm for a steak on easter. I went to the neighbours house and let him grab me and put me in a cage and then my ex-humans (the ones that gave me to them <-- ------ and Mike) --> came and got me and within a month I was in another suburb with my surviving person. I am sick now. I think it is from the stress of my experience and I am very skittish if there are loud bangs in the street or my human doesn't move for a while. I check on my human every now and then to make sure they are still here. I actually run away if anyone calls me 'Soxy Doxy'. ------ thinks that is what the police called me. |
